Brief profile:

After completion Ph. D (Aquaculture) in the year, 2008 from ICAR-CIFE, I joined Fish culture division of ICAR-CIBA in the year 2009. I was associated with team of scientist working on the up-gradation of breeding and farming technology of Seabass. I was also associated in development of captive breeding technology of Cobia, Milkfish, pearl spot and ornamental fishes (Scat, Moony fish and Cresent pearch). I have worked on reproductive endocrinology of captive reard stock of mullet. Since 2015, I am posted at Kakdwip Research Centre of ICAR-CIBA. At this centre, we have developed and popularized the Modular Hatchery Technology (MHT) of brackishwater catfish, Mystus gulio. Presently, working on domestication and development of captive broodstock of Hilsa, Tenualosa ilisha and Gold spot mulet, Liza parsia.
