Weather watch report from CIBA for the period 26th January – 1st February 2012 |
- Isolated and scattered rainfall occurred for one or two days and minimum temperatures were normal to above normal for one or two days over coastal Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Tamil Nadu (TN) & Puducherry during the week under report.
- As per the forecast weather would be mainly dry over coastal AP and TN.
- Since minimum temperatures were above normal, shrimp farmers who have harvested the winter crop recently are advised to take the advantage of increasing temperatures to ensure complete drying of the ponds for starting the pond preparation for summer crop.
