- Maximum temperatures were above normal to appreciably above normal over Coastal Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Tamil Nadu (TN) & Puducherry for most days and
mainly dry weather prevailed during the week under report and as per the forecast similar situation is likely to continue for the next week.

Due to prevailing high temperatures, shrimp farmers who have started the summer crop are advised to monitor the water quality for increase in salinity of pond water and the feed intake by animals for taking corrective actions like water exchange and decreasing the quantity of feed.
