ICAR-CIBA observed the Vigilance Awareness Week 2026

 The ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (ICAR CIBA) observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 from 26th October 2026 to 1st October 2026 with the core theme of “Probity for Prosperity”. On 26th October 2026, the Vigilance Pledge was undertaken by all Scientists, Technical and Administrative Officers and other Staff under the Chairmanship of Dr M Kailasam, Director ICAR CIBA. During this week, various activities like elocution, essay writing, quiz etc. were conducted for creating awareness for school children, institute staff, general public etc. about the annual theme “Probity for Prosperity”. On 27th October 2026 Shri Navin Kumar Jha, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO, ICAR-CIBA) delivered a special address on the topic “Preventive Vigilance” to all the scientists, staff and scholars of the institute in which he explained in detail the importance of vigilance in Government Offices, its various forms and concept, operational and administrative aspects, monitoring and integrity measures. On 29th October 2026, Dr.D.Deboral Vimala, Principal Scientist D and Smt. Mathuramuthu Bala, Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) conducted a Quiz competition to the students of Guru Nanak Matriculation School, Velachery Chennai on Vigilance Awareness. During the Valedictory programme, Dr M Kailasam Director ICAR-CIBA explained the core process of vigilance being adopted in ICAR-CIBA and appreciated the cooperation being rendered by all the category of staff of the institute for carrying out the vigilance process in day today management. Shri Aswin Haridas AO, ICAR-CIBA coordinated the activities during the Vigilance Awareness Week teaming with Shri Navin Kumar Jha, CAO and Dr C.V.Sairam Vigilance Officer ICAR CIBA.
